in suburb gardening community. Scenic view to open water space. 5 minutes on foot to bus stop, half-hour to city center. 2 double rooms, shower and banya at request. Cooking facilities and basic food (vegetables) included. Lunch or dinner available at price of USD10 p/p. Vegetable garden near house. Swimming when good weather, in the gulf of Angara River, fishing and boat riding possible. Also good public banya (steamhouse) is near, 30RR (1USD) per hour. Price: USD20 p/p. Discounts: - USD5 for each person over 2. This is my own property, so your host is English speaking and I will be glad to answer any questions you may have concerning travel in the area.

Apartment near Ecological museum, owned by single lady, Limniological institute worker. Not far from "Intourist" hotel. One double room rented out.

*Fly-fishing right near city center, from boat, with instructor (Russian only).
*Kayaking for birdwatching at Selenga river delta and around Olkhon island.
*Attend a performance in the IX century building of Irkutsk Drama Theater, historical landmark of the city.
*Banya at Angara outlet, year-round. Jumping into Baikal water after 100C (200 F) steambath is special fun in winter.
*Listvyanka village, farmer's market; swimming in lake.
*Flying paraplane and motor deltaplane with instructor, in suburb area or over steppes at Small Sea of Baikal.
